Camp was nothing like I expected it to be. I thought it was going to be really scary. Although it was scary at times, it was the best experience of prim
ary school. Just like I anticipated. My favourite activity was canoeing. I had never canoed before and it will be an experience I’ll remember. The scariest part of camp was when we went on the night walk. I was extremely scared about the leeches and falling over in the dark. Once we got back to our cabins I was so relieved that it was over.The activity that most challenged me was orienteering. I thought it would be really easy, but I found it quite difficult. I had never used a compass before, but when I got the hang of it, it became easy. When I woke up on the last day of camp, I was really sad. I didn’t want it to end. But once I got home I realised that one more day would have killed me!I will always remember Camp Cave Hill as being a fun filled adventure!
